He was very patient and friendly and this made the driving experience great for learning to drive.

I would recommend Colin Dawes to anyone due to the fact that he is very easy to get along with and his teaching method is very effective. Communication with Colin is easy since its so simple to arrange lessons with him. Learning to drive in my thirties has not been easy, especially with family and work priorities constantly in the way. John Mell has been an excellent instructor throughout this journey. He pays a lot of attention to details and was always on track of my progress. You won't meet many instructors who makes detailed notes of every driving lessons like him. My instructor, John Leeming, helped me so much to pass my test. I had previously taken other tests with a different driving school and wasn’t successful. I was a nervous driver when I started my lessons with John but he was so patient with me and understanding even though it took awhile to gain enough confidence. John was always calm and helpful through every mistake. So 5 stars for service and quality. 4 stars for value as was a little pricey but still cheaper than my previous instructor. Leah. Eastbourne.

I would like to thank Colin for all his hard work during our sessions together, always on time, Colin was very patient when we started as I had never driven before. Colin was extremely good at explaining all aspects of driving in a very clear and understandable way.

His preparation for my driving test was first rate, no stone was left unturned as we approached the practical test, explaining every detail so I was fully prepared for the test, which I passed first time.

Colin was an excellent instructor. He placed the lessons well, was great with explanations and very patient. After failing my first exam due to my hesitation, I was very disappointed and upset. However, Colin was extremely supportive and was able to cheer me up and motivate me to try again. I was able to book another test after looking everyday and communicating with my instructor to make sure the date fitted us both. Colin was very flexible with his lessons and times. I was able to pass on my second time with 4 minors. Colin has prepped me well before the test and I was able to use his tips during the test. Would definitely recommend Colin as a driving instructor. He’s extremely patient, understanding and friendly. Colin was able to teach me everything I need to know about driving for the test and beyond in a very calm and relaxed manner. First I want to thank Mark Napier for all his support throughout my time being a pupil at his driving school through L Plates.

I first came across Mark when I started learning again in 2013/14 using an automatic instead of a manual.

Mark shows a passion in teaching others to drive, a great sense of humour and also very calm natured with excellent support, especially with nervous drivers like myself and help build confidence in those learning to drive.

Mark taught me a lot about driving that my previous instructor didn't, he uses diagrams and put me scenarios to use my own initiative to tackle it.

I highly recommend Mark to anyone learning to drive in an automatic.
