Automatic driving schools Hastings

After having a two year break from taking driving lessons I felt ready to try and get back into the driving seat, feeling determined to stick at them this time round and by doing so in an automatic since previously feeling that a manual, was not for me.

I was assigned Mark Napier who was a brilliant instructor. The lessons were relaxed and taken at a pace which was best for me. We built a good rapport enabling me to strengthen my confidence and also have a laugh. 

I steadily progressed through my lessons with Mark guiding me every step of the way, while he remained patient, calm and encouraging - especially during the lessons which I found harder. He not only taught me how to drive but taught me how to do so safely, preparing me for when I am driving on the roads by myself. 

I want to say a big thank you to Mark for all of his help in getting me to the point of being ready to take my test, instilling confidence in me and helping me achieve my goal! I am very happy I was able to pass first time round with only 5 minors. I would recommend learning with L Plates.

Hi, my name is Tara and I passed my driving test first time on Tuesday 18th February. I had Frank McLaren as a driving instructor. He has been brilliant and I would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to drive. He thought both me and my sister, 3 years ago, and we both passed first time. He gives you confidence as a new driver and allows you to learn as and when you wish too. He doesn't faff about wasting your time and money like some can do, as is evident as I passed my test after just 26 hours of lessons. Frank allows you to feel at ease as many people are very nervous when learning to drive and is just a thoroughly nice chap.

Huge thank you to Giles Blanch for helping me pass driving test first time! The clear and well-structured lessons planned by Giles have made me a confident and well-rounded driver.

Where I was often focused on getting things down quickly, Giles was patient and informative, and always gave detailed explanations of how to improve on my driving. When I made mistakes, Giles was calm, and was always able to give simple analogies to make problem solving easy and stress free. 

Before my test Giles made sure I had extra time for lessons and a real effort was made to make sure I knew exactly what I was driving into. The friendly and confident manner in which Giles dealt with my lessons made learning to drive really easy, and a real pleasure. I felt my time learning to drive went really quickly and .I would recommend Giles to all my friends, especially seeing as they all started learning before me!

Driving lessons Horley

I want to say a big thank you to my L Plates instructor John Mell for helping me to pass my driving test. He is a very friendly instructor who was patient with me from my first lesson to the last. Prior to my first driving lesson I had no driving experience, however thanks to John my confidence grew very quickly as he always helped me to stay calm and relaxed about any situation that I struggled to deal with whilst driving, and when I first began my lessons his constant reassurance and way of explaining things helped me to not panic and make progress consistently. He was very good at assessing my strengths and weaknesses so that I knew what to improve on and how to do it, and he planned my lessons well making sure that I got as much practice and driving experience as possible, I also felt very comfortable with him due to the fact that I could have a laugh with him as well as learn. He always turned up on time to each driving lesson so that we could start promptly, and his guidance led me to passing my practical test first time with only 3 minors. Thanks again for everything.

Driving lessons Crawley

I had done some lessons with a different driving school back in 2012 but I was mucked about with several instructors within a short space of time and lost my confidence to start driving again.

In June 2013 I made the decision that I must start learning again, mostly for a job promotion and to have the convenience of having my own car.

One of my friends recommended Giles Blanch so I got in contact.

I can certainly say that this was the best decision I made. Giles was very helpful and clear and also quickly understood what was the best way for me to learn. He had the upmost confidence in my ability to drive and Id like to think we built a good rapport to not only deal with the learn to drive but to have a laugh while learning.

It was believed that I would of passed first time but my nerves completely took me over so for the lessons running up to my next tests we looked to have more continuity in regular lessons. It was difficult for me as I put a lot of pressure on myself as standard but Giles persisted. 

Finally on my 4th driving test on the 15th January I passed. I can not fault Giles for teaching me how to drive as in all my previous tests it was my nerves stopping me from achieving what I know I can do.

I will reommend him to anyone I know looking for a driving instructor and later this year I will look to complete the pass plus course with him.
