One of the first things I said to Giles was "I have to pass my test by September." That gave him about two months to get me up to standard. Having driven before wasn't much help to him as, after a two year break between lessons, I sat in the car on our first lesson and stared blankly at him.

Giles rose to the challenge wonderfully. It takes some patience to deal with a frustrated me! He knew exactly what I needed and adapted his teaching method to suit me perfectly. His easy humour and friendly, relaxed demeanour made me feel completely comfortable in my lessons with him. Despite my insistent reservations, I passed my test under his tutelage. With just 20 hours, he succeeded where a previous year of lessons had failed. Driving instructors Redhill

Raj Purba is a great driving instructor. He is calm, patient and full of support and encouragement. He makes driving enjoyable, by getting to know the individual pupil and having great banter with them throughout their lessons. He is very flexible with the times and is very reliable. Raj always turned a negative thing into a positive comment. Raj gave me the confidence and belief in my own driving ability. I would recommend Raj to anyone who is looking for a calm and supportive driving instructor. Giles Blanch was an excellent driving instructor who taught me efficiently and helped me pass my test first time. He was always punctual and on time for my lessons and when on the odd occasion when he was delayed he would ring me to inform me. He was also reasonable with payment terms, giving me plenty of time to come up with the money I owed. Giles taught in an easy to understand manner which helped me to pick up the feel of driver much quicker than I thought. His approach to teaching is passionate and he is positive in those who he teaches, which helps you as a learner to feel more confident in yourself. You feel relaxed and in no means rushed with Frank.
