Today I passed my Practical Driving test first time! 

My experience with my driving instructor Frank Mclaren has been amazing. In my opinion he is a great instructor just because the way he taught me made me feel relaxed whilst driving, as well as teaching me to pass my test first time. 

He worked around my college day with lessons and if I ever needed any help he was always there to help me out. He is a great instructor and I recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

My experience with L Plates has been really swift and after only having around 30 hours of driving with Frank since I stared in February and since I have started I have really quickly managed to pick up how to drive and Franks tips were also really useful to. 

Thanks to L Plates driving school I am now able to progress with my life knowing that the skills I have picked up will help me throughout. Thank you. Recommended from someone who passed first time with the company. Daniel Brian-Davis. Hailsham.

I was very nervous and didn't want to learn to drive and my mum booked my lessons without me knowing and I'm so glad she did with L plates because my instructor Frank McLaren was brilliant he was very patient with me and got me up to test standard very quickly and even offered to help me with my theory test which was very nervous about. I would highly recommend Frank as he was highly flexible with times and where he picked me up whether it was from college or from home. Not once was he late for a lesson and always understanding with me while driving. I'd advise anyone learning to drive to pick L-plates and Frank McLaren. Max Cook. Bexhill on sea.

Throughout my time learning to drive my car I felt safe and comfortable; while many other driving instructors tend to rush the student I found the pace I learnt at was much less stressful, and in the end I believe I have become a more informed/safer driver.

I could not have asked for a better instructor! Every time I did something wrong, he would not only tell me, but tell me how to correct it. This really helped me to understand what I was doing and how I should be doing it. The instructions given to me each lesson were brilliant and every new thing I was I introduced to was explained excellently. I was not rushed into anything and it was all done at my own pace, which really made me feel comfortable with everything I was doing. I learnt to drive with Jim Eckford- he is a very nice, friendly person and I enjoyed learning to drive with him. He was always on time and you got your full two hours he was really patient with me, and especially supportive as my father was very ill and sometimes I had to change or cancel lessons to take care of him. My dad passed away a week before my test and Jim was really supportive and Gave me loads of positive encouragement so it was extra emotional when I passed. I would 100% recommend him. Ray Brewster was my instructor. I 100%, 10/10, would recommend him. He is an all round nice, friendly, funny guy. He will work silly hours all day, pick you up and drop you off at your destination. He also doesn't just teach you how to pass the test, as I've heard most instructors do, he teaches you everything you need to know about the road so you're safer once you have passed.

The first thing that drew me to L Plates was the offer for 2 hours for the price of 1 for your first lesson. Which is great as it gives you an opportunity to meet the instructor to make sure you get along. Colin was very good, he explained everything fully, with the use of diagrams so you understood what you would do before doing it. He helped me to learn alot by when I made mistakes heexplained to me what I had done wrong and how to avoid doing it again, also has loads of little hints and tips. I was lucky enough to have the superb Jim Eckford as an instructor and passed my test with his help yesterday at the first attempt. I was in a high-speed crash at 17 so nervousness has always held me back for the last 20 years, but with a child on the way a license had become essential. Despite my concerns and worries, Jim really coached me to surpass myself to control my nerves and keep my concentration to pass with 4 minors. My experience with L plates has been fantastic. You get a speedy response to enquiries. You can pay for as many or as few lesson as you like online. My instructor would than give me a copy of all my lesson times. Ray Everett was my instructor and he was fantastic. I'm an older driver who thought I would never get my license and with Ray I was able to pass both parts first time round with 2 minors. He was very warm and welcoming but stern when need be. He was very passionate about making sure I was a safe driver. He was able to voice my concerns even before I said anything. He is a fantastic teacher and driving companion. If they were giving out PHDs for driving he would definitely deserve one. Not putting any other instructors down but I think my success was possible because of him. He was the perfect one for me. If you don't have a good sense of humour though than he might not be the one for you. But if you want someone who is good fun and will push and support you. He is very honest and will not make you do any more or less than you need to be successful. So jus listen to home and take his instruction and I'm sure you will be successful as well.
